Your Consciousness is Showing

by Nancy L. Buchanan

Want to know what you believe? Look at your environment, friends, home, health and bank account. What are the general thoughts in your home? Are they positive or negative?

Our consciousness is part of the great consciousness. The thoughts we entertain today help create the consciousness we experience. We are always walking through an atmosphere of our consciousness. Thoughts become things, though most of us don't believe it, for if we did, we would use more wisdom in our thought processes.

When the world creates more thoughts, feelings and beliefs about peace, we will have a "consciousness of peace" and peace must follow. This is a universal law.

We must see it, believe it, imagine it, and feel it before it appears to the physical eye. Keep the faith. Those of us who pray for world peace have faith at some level or we would not make the effort. There is a part of us that knows there is something greater -- something that responds to our prayers. At this time, it may be helpful to pray, "Thank you God for world peace."

Something happens to us when we give thanks in advance. Our beliefs, feelings and expectations shift more easily. We focus our energy and where attention goes energy flows. If no other thing is remembered from this article, remember that you are powerful and you do make a difference. Take time today to develop an environmental consciousness of peace, love and joy.

Jesus said, "You shall do these things and greater than I; what you ask you shall receive. You only need to believe. It is done unto you, as you believe." Jesus taught by example too. He said, "Get up and walk" and "Open your eyes and see."

He saw beyond appearance. He looked beyond the physical and only saw the perfection. He only saw the finished product. He saw a healed leg; he saw eyes that can see.

He knew that His word had power. So does ours. Words carry a frequency that helps move things into form. Our words add to life or subtract from it. One hour of inside work is equal to forty hours of labor. Check it out.

Imagination is a key to manifesting and developing consciousness. Einstein said, "Imagination is greater than knowledge."

We must not underestimate the gifts we came with at birth. To develop consciousness of good, it helps to say daily: "I am happy, I am healthy, I am loving, I am peaceful," until it is so. Of course it may take thousands of times before it reaches a feeling level. Is it worth it? You decide!

If your life is less than desirable, ask yourself, "What have I been watching on TV, reading in the newspaper, talking to my friends and neighbors about, and thinking about in my mind?" This is how you contribute to the environmental consciousness.

Recently I attended lectures on manifesting our heart's desires. This increased my awareness of how powerful our thoughts, words and feelings are in the manifesting process. I started to shift my attention more to things that I desired. I focused on a white leather sofa and it came to me and it is beautiful. I thought about window shades. I found them the day I thought about buying them. I found someone getting ready to throw them out. They were the color and type of blinds I wanted. I wanted a TV with a VCR. It came through the door as a gift, brand new in the box. It was even the color I had imagined. I saw two paintings. They became gifts, one worth over $350. The artist called me, saying that spirit told her the day before to gift me. I was even thinking about money and a lady called me and said I am sending you $100. I visualized a ficus tree with lights. Soon after, as a client was walking out my door she said, "Would you like a ficus tree?" I said yes. When she delivered it, to my amazement the lights were already on it just as I had visualized.

I am always grateful to the Infinite Power that accomplishes this through other people. We are so blessed when we develop a consciousness of good. I even manifested a tire recently -- brand new from a friend -- and I did not think I needed it. The next week I had to replace a tire. It may be a good idea to affirm, "I always have what I need." I learned that from a friend and I see it now working for me. It will work for you, too.

So, be careful what you wish for -- Many Blessings.
