Cancel That Thought
by Dr. Audrey Craft Davis

When we think of cleaning up our environment, we usually think of oil
spills, dumps, trash on our streets -- anything that is polluting our land,
water or homes. But that is a drop in the bucket compared to the contamination
that pours forth from our minds. Most people do not even think of this method
of contagion, yet these are the things that cause the most devastation.
As the great Einstein said, "Nothing can happen until someone thinks
about it."
This is where collective thought becomes a problem. When we send out
a thought, it is picked up by others and their thought is picked by others
and this continues until it produces action. The type of action produced
depends on the type and force of the thought being sent out. Negative thoughts
will produce negative results and positive thoughts will produce positive
actions. We, thus, pollute our universe.
We do have that kind of power. Charles Fillmore, the Founder of the Unity
Movement, tells us that our thoughts are so powerful that they go out into
the ethers and cause the very atoms to tremble and change place. Earl Nightingale
in Strangest Secret says that the strangest secret in the universe is that
you become what you think about.
The most powerful thing on Planet Earth is our thought. You cannot think
without seeing a picture. The force of one thought can change the course
of civilization. The Chinese say that where one person has faith, this is
tremendous, but where two believe together, it is strengthened a thousand
fold. Jesus says it this way, "Where two or more are gathered together,
there will I be." Faith is crystallized thought: the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
We see all over the world the evidence of collective thought. It is believed
by some of the most influential thinkers of our time that collective thought
is what causes such devastation as tornados, earthquakes, landslides, floods,
volcanoes, and, very definitely, wars. Our thoughts are picked up by others.
Thoughts are not just wisps of vapor that go out and are dissipated. Oh,
no, they go on forever.
Now, let us consider how we can change our environmental consciousness
and why and how it is to our advantage to do so. Do you know that consciousness
expands our DNA and causes us to function on a much higher level? Positive
thought raises our vibrations. Our words and thoughts, when used with intent,
go into the earth consciousness (ethers) and form a grid that is accessible
to everyone. We activate our Merkaba (light body) through prayer, meditation
and sending words and thoughts into the ethers. In so doing, our expanding
DNA can actually form a grid that is accessible to everyone.
My late husband and I actually did, with intent, form a grid in this
manner on our last cruise together. With intent, we deliberately formed
a "love grid" which enveloped our cruise ship with such intensity
that everyone aboard felt it. Most of these 2,000 people aboard looked at
us with such warmth; we could tell they knew where that "love energy"
was emanating from. We had been on 78 cruises before, but this was the most
enjoyable, fulfilling cruise of our entire lives.
To test this theory of love energy, try this. Go into meditation and
think of the word "Love." Then ask God to allow you to be an instrument
through which His love and light can flow. Ask Him to let you be a blessing
to someone today. Watch how many people look at you or speak to you. Feel
the warmth. You know you brightened up someone's day. What is so wonderful
about setting out to deliberately change earth consciousness is that not
only do we set a grid with accessibility to the whole universe, but we also
raise our own vibrations and expand our own DNA, which is the path for preparing
ourselves for the Ascension.
Every time we correct a flaw in our own character or help someone to
do so, or overcome depression or grief or correct a bad habit, whether in
oneself or another, we do indeed change our DNA and raise not only our vibration
but also that of Planet Earth. So at the same time you are cleaning up the
environment, you are doing yourself and those you love a great service.
Living by the principles Jesus taught, constantly seeking to give and receive
more love, using every opportunity to change darkness into light, changing
a negative into a positive (like visualizing everything as being better,
better, and better), we raise the vibrations within ourselves and also our
country, our world, and our universe. Of course we want to encourage physically
cleaning up our environment, but using our God mind with intent is by far
the best method for improving our environmental consciousness.
