The Miracle of Life
by AnneMarie Dyer

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though
nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. -
Albert Einstein
I would like to acknowledge my inner guide which keeps showing me the
way... reminding me how beautiful life really is. I wish to share with others
the many wonderful things I have learned, which have deepened and expanded
my experience and enjoyment of life.
Our potential is vast and deep for we are truly as infinitely creative
as our imagination. We know that our physical universe is not really composed
of "matter" at all its basic component being a kind of force
or essence which we call energy. Things appear to be solid but actually
we are all energy and everything within and around us is made up of energy
which vibrates at different rates of speed. Processed images are released
into the universe as thoughts and feelings, having their own magnetic energy.
A thought or idea always precedes manifestation. An idea is like a blueprint,
creating an image of the form. We get what we believe in, expect and ask
for. The power of prayer works this way. Prayers are thoughts put into the
universe. Most of us associate miracles with healing and prayer.
If we want to receive higher power guidance, it's helpful to begin by
releasing our own personal view of our situation. Projection makes perception.
Our inner experiences inspire events when we allow our higher power to transform
our thoughts and perspectives. Many of our inner experiences bring peace
to our minds and kindness to our hearts. They are like a ray of light that
shines away our darkest thoughts. They come as soon as our minds are open
to them. We all have the opportunity to fill our minds with our own dark
thoughts or choose to accept the rays of miracles. Training the mind to
be peaceful allows peace at all times. Just like an athlete we must practice
to obtain our goals.
A miracle, according to A Course In Miracles, is an inner healing. A
miracle is an experience of God's love and is what happens when we allow
God to transform our thoughts and perspective. We can then experience true
happiness. Listening for guidance is like learning to feed a bird from our
hands. We have to become very gentle and still, feeling at peace. This opens
one's self for this potential for enlightenment and highest wisdom. The
unfolding of consciousness helps to increase understanding and to improve
emotions, perceptions, insights and feelings. Surrendering your beliefs
will result in seeing beyond the end into the beginning.
Most people identify with the traditional definition of miracles: remarkable
events in the world. Life itself, however, is a miracle, considering we
were created from a tiny gene. Which came first the chicken or was it the
egg? Miracles will always withhold their meaning from doubters and the credulous.
Miracles happen every day but we have a tendency to hold on to our personal
perspectives. The innocence and faith of a child allows miracles to shine
in with their love and thought process. Right now we are in a moment I could
describe as a revolution toward a higher evolution. We should try to let
them run down over us like raindrops in a shower that baptizes us with energy
and stamina to push forward against all limitations. Let's try to make our
main purpose to nurture and keep the objectives and dream.
In the past, many of us have used our powers in a relatively unconscious
way. Because of our own deep-seated negative concepts about life we have
automatically and unconsciously expected and imagined lack, limitation and
challenges to be our lot in life. (We create ourselves.) One must be willing
to be open to entertaining certain concepts as being possible. It is not
necessary to have "faith" in any power outside yourself. Entertain
a desire to enrich your knowledge and experience with an open mind.
Offer others what you wish to experience. Trade personal plans and goals
for divinely-inspired inner guidance. Learn to see ordinary things in an
inspired way as an opening to new peace. Miracles are always there, just
open to it now. We need to trade in our old vision like a worn-out pair
of eyeglasses.
Miracles are an effect in the physical world, which surpass all known
human or natural powers. A marvel is a wonderful thing. A miracle is not
the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law. Kind acts
are a shift in gears to super-natural powers like the 9/11 heroes
in a life-threatening situation.
My love for animals has taught me much. Did you know a dog's sense of
smell is at least 30 times more sensitive than a human's? This is what helps
them predict seizures in patients before the seizure occurs. Neurons (brain
cells that transmit nerve impulses) increase activity, leading to heighten
electrical discharges. Even auras are observed.
How wonderful it is to be able to train the mind to move swiftly and
seize whatever it wants. A well-trained mind can open the door to creation
in the ultimate achievements.
We can all create miracles in our lives here and now!
