Spiritual Tools of Thought

Rev. Pat Cross

Always, I am with you in paradise! A transitional journey is waiting our discovery and participation. Wow! what an awesome gift God has given us: all our days of eternal life.

I possess the trust in an indwelling spirit, presence and power. I know that God is the life I am. Therefore I am always living in the expectancy of greater good, unfolding and manifesting in, as and through me.

When, as Emerson puts it, we get "our bloated nothingness" out of the way we become an instrument for spirit to express its natural beauty and goodness. What is this bloated nothingness that Emerson refers to and what are the tools we can use for getting it out of the way? This really is food for thought: a spiritual indigestion brought about by our own human concepts, opinions, judgments, fallacies and distortions of human origin and race consciousness . . . the culprit we allow to seize and take over the essence and Spirit of our being. One God, one life, one Spirit, one presence . . . and many expressions of the One. That is the substance and food of God that is implanted in all of us, a fertile soil for divine thoughts.

There are beginnings, middles and endings in this journey of life. When we allow ourselves to get caught up in or judge these events, we create much suffering, unhappiness and unhealthy stigmas. Whereas when we live in the stream of Spiritual Consciousness and go with the flow, we can move easily and comfortable ride the changing tides. When we do this, we experience the joy and peace of the moment and are free from the human bondage of self.

It is truly done unto us as we believe. When we allow each moment to be a breathing, moving and ecstatic occasion of livingness, we find ourselves on an endless journey of eternal bliss, knowing no lack or separation. It is at this level of consciousness that we truly live, move and have our being in God awareness, consciousness and expression.

Clear the wreckage of the past . . . let it be just that, past . . . a vehicle that brought you to the new "now moment". Accept who you are at this now moment and care more about what you desire and can become. Continue ingesting that spiritual nourishment that feeds the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical elements of your thought system.

The I-Am-That-I-Am . . . that is the heavenly state and it's at the center of each one of us. A feeling and being . . . joyfelt, relaxed, experiencing the love and peace of God. Goodness flowing through every cell and fiber of our being. Suspending doubts and distractions, releasing the uptight strings of tension, and preconceived ideas. Becoming once again that child of wonder who sees the world through the eyes of awe and new discovery, ever discarding the old and seeking the new. A healthy and wholesome diet of food substance building strong, positive and powerfelt thoughts.

When we go beyond appearances, shake off the dust of old perceptions and look only for the good, we transcend the realm of duality. Negativity becomes obsolete. We enter into the stream of a true spiritual consciousness which knows that good is all there is. We live in the awareness of the truth that sets us free . . . free from the limitations of the past and free from the fears of the unknown future. We are reaping the harvest of our endeavoring thoughts.

We know and accept that there is a divine plan for each of us which is far superior to any plan that we individually could conceive. We become willing to stop pushing and shoving, and let God orchestrate the symphony of our life. We are in tune with the infinite and wait upon the master to raise his baton in the silence of our soul, echoing the vibration and renaissance of the Christ Spirit. We are indeed partaking of a divine banquet whose food has been prepared and blessed by the harmony of spiritual thought.

Each of us is a symphony of light, love, beauty, innocence and harmony . . . a replica of that newborn babe within . . . one with the eternal Christ child. The spiritual kingdom is at hand and we all carry the light of the spirit, living the life of the unsullied soul on the journey through eternity.

Now that we know who we are, let us be responsive to the life of the Christ child within us. Now is the hour of power to create new memories that will be ours to behold and cherish throughout all eternity.

A living memorial to those who have gone before us, and whose bountiful gifts have been given and shared with us to make our light shine a little brighter. A menu delightfelt, easily digestible, satisfying and palatable to every thought of our being. The light, love and inspiration that will always be an example and comfort to us.

When we live, move and have our being in the Spiritual Kingdom, our life becomes a light unto our feet and a blessing to bestow. When the lights go on all over the world, we will all be united in spirit, mind, body and soul. The presence of God will have awakened in the bosom of all mankind, and the light of forgiveness, acceptance, understanding, compassion and peace will shine forth forevermore. We will be living in the light of unconditional love for all, beginning with ourselves, and be able to share this ultimate delicacy with each other. How majestic and reverent is this banquet God has prepared for us. Is your thought up to receiving, digesting, assimilating and enjoying it? It's there for you awaiting your discovery. So pick up the spiritual tools of thought to change your thinking, and change your life. And Enjoy!

Namasté.
