Thought Pollution!

Dr. Audrey Craft Davis

We are responsible for every feeling, thought and word that we send into the universe. Whatever we send out will be picked up by others. Our feelings, thoughts and words are not just wisps of illusionary material but, rather, they are forceful bits of energy that go out into the universe and are picked up by anyone on our wavelength.

Our thoughts, feelings and words are never dissipated. They live on forever. Do you know that President Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" is still out there and was picked up some time ago. I have stated many times that our words and thoughts are things. They materialize. But also our feelings. Why our feelings? Our feelings determine how we will be thinking. And sometimes that dark feeling is not coming from your own consciousness.

It can be coming from someone who loves you and doesn't know not to worry about you. It can come from someone who is jealous of you or just does not like you. It can be anger, worry or any dark, negative kind of energy.

Have you ever thought about someone only to have that person call you? This is telepathy and it proves that others do pick up whatever we put out there.

Recently while counseling a very depressed young lady, I inquired as to why she was having such dark feelings. She had no idea. But in our conversation she began talking about her mother who loves her so much. She said, "Mom worries about me all the time." After explaining how we hurt people by worrying about them, I gave her a formula to protect herself from her mother's destructive thoughts. "You will feel her energy when she worries about you. Every time you think of your mother I want you to see a pink cloud of love surrounding her and then I want you to say to her (in your mind) 'Mom, I behold the Christ in you.' And if you think of her a hundred times a day, do it every time."

I went on to explain that if the Christ was active in her mother's thoughts, she could not worry, because the Master never worried about anything. I told her, "This will stop that dark energy from filtering into your own consciousness."

She said, "Mother thinks she is proving her love by worrying about me." I suggested that we stop everything and do the exercise I gave her. As we began to see the pink cloud of love surrounding her, we said to her Mom, "We behold the Christ in you." It was evident that we had blocked her mother's negative worry thoughts for she looked so relieved - like a different person. I said to her, "See, it really works."

Most of us were taught that, if we worry about our children, we are good parents. This is so wrong. The scripture tells us that we can bind things on earth and we can loose things on earth. When we worry about our loved ones, we bind them with whatever we are worried about. Visualize a protective Christ light around them and go about your day. It is impossible to have faith and worry at the same time.

We are indeed our brother's keeper and it is our responsibility to be diligent against doing anything that makes his or her existence more difficult. If we pollute the universe with dark thoughts such as worry, anger, impatience or envy, we are not living up to our duty. We must take control over our thoughts.

You might ask, "What can I do to negate the effect of dark thoughts and energies I may have already sent out?"

If you have given life to dark thoughts or feelings, then you must send out enough happy, loving thoughts to negate the dark energy. The Masters of the Far East advise you to say to those destructive thoughts, "I formed you imperfectly, so I must send you back into the universe from which comes all things to be restructured into light, love and beauty," and decree that you will guard against ever again polluting God's beautiful universe.
