From an extraterrestrial perspective, the subject of humor is an interesting one. Though humor is definitely a truly universal quality, we as contactees for the human-appearing ET's have observed that what we think is humorous is sometimes not what a higher, more advanced human-appearing being thinks or feels is humorous. Let us make it clear, we are not referring here to those beings one hears so much about known as the Greys, the "cosmic sleaze balls" or "the aliens your mother warned you about", as these beings do not have a sense of humor and are devoid of all emotion -- not much fun at a party! We are referring to advanced beings who have genetically seeded the planet and who comprise the Spiritual Hierarchy.
Commander Voltra and Mirvin, for example, who are key members of the Ashtar Command and the Intergalactic Confederation of Worlds, are "cosmic psychotherapists." They have made it very clear to us how important it is for all of us "volunteer extraterrestrial souls in human embodiment" to let as much humor and joy balance out our dedication and discipline to our missions here. Or another way to express it is, "All work and no play, makes one awful dull day!" After all, since we volunteers are getting "cosmic hazardous duty pay" while we are here in human embodiment on our mission -- well, live a little before we return back to the higher cosmic realms.
Sometimes, the old earthly expression, "God seems to sometimes have a 'wicked' sense of humor" also seems to happen quite often, if we don't "take ourselves too seriously" and can learn to "lighten up" and notice the humor in many things. When one is in the process of learning one's "lessons of life" here on Earth, the less attached one can become, yet still be responsible, the better, for humor is the important part of that formula in life that allows one not to get bitter and vain, but still find hope and a higher purpose to life.
In the final analysis, as we learn to "be in the world, but not of it", we are more able to see as much humor as possible in life, and not be so attached, as most humans tend to be, to all the mundane, worldly, material things.
And finally, if we can learn to see as our ET friends tend to relate to this whole Earth life experience as one gigantic cosmic soap opera, "As The Earth Turns" -- we will also be able to see the bigger picture and not be so stuck in all the many challenges we each as Light Workers face on our missions. We are then able truly to be the Emissaries of Light representing the higher worlds of the Intergalactic Confederation. Known as the Heavenly Realms, these worlds of the Confederation are filled with love, joy and purpose. We are sure each one of you will agree we can certainly benefit from more humor on any level. As above, so below.
